Umvoti Municipality has two libraries under its jurisdiction

• Theodore Menne Library Greytown
• Kranskop Library

Public libraries, have more than just shelves of free books for loan. We offer the following services free to the community

The following Services are provided to the community :

• Free Membership
• Reference material
• Inter-library loans
• Books on C.D’s (Audio- books)
• Audio- Visual material ( D.V.D’s – Compact Discs – videos)
• Photo-coping
• Activity Room ( For hiring)
• Story hour
• Free Cybercafe Facilities

• Managing and Operating the budget on Libraries
• Maintenance of the Libraries
• Issuing of Books and Library material
• Ensure access to information and knowledge
• Client services and communication with the users and public
• Ensure access to computer facilities such as internet access.
